Summary
THELYSS: I think I could have floated beside him in stasis forever, ignoring the obvious. Once he offered the precise object of my desire, which I had been concealing from even myself, I panicked.
INTERVIEWER: And what did you say to him?
THELYSS: We fought about it. We had to. In the Nein, it is prerequisite for doing anything.
WIDOGAST: In the end, it was about fear, as it always is.
— The Mighty Nein's rocket to fame involves more drama, mystery, abuse, sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll than any columnist can resist, but media accounts until now have been mostly secondhand. Tabloids and vultures run with the facts in the opposite direction, smearing half-truths and outrageous accusations onto any blank space, taking silence for admission.
It definitely doesn’t help that Thelyss admitted to stealing the Mouthpiece of the Luxon on national telellusion.
The following timeline contextualizes Widogast and Thelyss’s individual music careers, their collaborations, and the events surrounding a) the crimes of Volstrucker Records CEO Trent Ikithon, and b) Ikithon and Martinet Ludinus Da’leth’s undiscussed roles in the Mouthpiece of the Luxon Scandal.

Summary
Essek doesn’t date, and for good reason. It’s exhausting, the dance around feelings and pleasure, made worse by the shadow of his ill health. He’s perfectly content with the company of his Guides, their platonic exchange of intimacies fully serviceable. He doesn’t need anyone else.
Caleb Widogast is the Empire human making a valiant attempt towards involving himself in Rosohna’s kink scene. He shouldn’t be as charming as he is but Essek finds himself drawn to Caleb, caught in his gravity well, pulled past the event horizon against his will. He doesn’t quite mind, especially when Essek connects Caleb Widogast to Bren Ermendrud, the researcher on loan from Soltryce studying time travel under Essek’s purview here in the Marble Tomes.
Don’t we all have mistakes we wish to correct?
Essek has made many and, caught up in a whirlwind romance with a Dom perfect in all the ways he didn’t know he wanted, he makes many more.

“It is Kryn spellcraft. Evil stuff, I’m afraid,” Ikithon tells Bren’s parents, dripping with sympathy. “One of them must have bound your son’s soul to theirs. Injuries and other ailments are transmitted through the bond. But don’t worry. We know how to take care of cases like his, here at Soltryce.”
*
Exposure to dunamis has unpredictable effects. Two people can become entangled across vast distances in space, their future connection echoing backwards through time. The elite of the Dynasty call this phenomenon the soulmate bond.
Trent Ikithon calls it an excellent strategic opportunity.
(In which Bren thinks he's cursed, Astrid and Wulf think he needs protection, and Essek has never met him, but he knows Bren is in danger.)

Summary
Caleb is struck with a thought– an image really– arriving fully-formed and without warning. The pink of his own thumbs, pressed firmly into lavender skin. Pointed towards a navel, towards each other, his hands would form an arch like that of a temple.
Essek would look so lovely in Caleb’s lap, held close and admired properly.
Three hundred and forty-four seconds.
Caleb has to get out of this hug right now. Essek is trying to say "goodbye, be safe, I will see you soon." Essek’s body is not trying to tell him anything.
---
The fact that Essek is staying with him in Rexxentrum is common knowledge amongst the Nein. The fact that Essek is in his bed every night— well, that is the secret part.

Work is boring, and his coworkers are mildly insane. Not for long though! Things will absolutely get worse.

Will Graham's daemon is unsettled, unspeaking, and halfway to feral, but if she's broken then isn't that because he is? She's a piece of him, and he's very certain that all of his madness hasn't been neatly excised into her body alone. She's made out of him, or he out of her; it's the same thing.

Karkat refuses to explain. Dave refuses to leave.

Not with Trent Ikithon still living somewhere in his head.
One night, he finds a Twitch stream.
The man behind the screen name ‘LogicalGhost’ is calm, brilliant, and impossible to look away from—playing horror games like they’re puzzles and speaking with a quiet certainty that makes the world feel less overwhelming.
Caleb tells himself it’s just a distraction.
But he keeps coming back.

Neither can read their own mark.
Both know exactly what it would mean to translate it.As war, guilt, and forbidden magic bind them closer, their soulmarks begin to react—glowing in danger, resonating in spellwork, and pulling two men together who believe themselves unworthy of destiny. Summary
In this darker AU of Percy Jackson & the Olympians, Percy Jackson arrives at Camp Half-Blood already shaped by violence, survival instincts, and a lifetime of learning how to endure without breaking. At fourteen, nearly fifteen, he is no wide-eyed hero—he is guarded, dangerous, and deeply suspicious of gods who arrive far too late to save anyone.
Accused of stealing Zeus’s Lightning Bolt and hunted by monsters, Percy is forced into a world that seems determined to use him as a weapon. At camp, he forms reluctant bonds—starting with Grover’s quiet loyalty and growing into something far more complicated when Percy draws the attention of Luke Castellan, an older camper who recognizes Percy’s anger, restraint, and loneliness all too well. What begins as mentorship and protection slowly turns into something warmer, sharper, and far more dangerous.
As grief, attraction, and resentment intertwine, Percy must decide who he trusts: the gods who claim him, or the people who choose him. This is a story about corrupted innocence, slow-burn romance, and the thin line between being forged into a hero—or becoming something the gods should have feared from the beginning.
