“No, like-” Dabi sighs, stares awkwardly away from Hawks’ eyes, looking at the gold of his hair, the morning light streaming through the window, the creases of Hawks' bedsheets; just because he can’t bring himself to look into Hawks’ eyes as he admits it. “I physically can’t. My tear ducts are burned shut. I can’t cry.”
