Summary

This story takes place after the Sequel Trilogy. It's mostly canonical, but as fanfiction goes it might divert from canon sometimes. It was sparked by a thought I had about Rey's new Jedi Order. So I figured I play around with it a bit.

Summary
Din Djarin had been redeemed, helped retake Mandalore and made his little clan of two official. His work for Carson Teva brought in a steady stream of credits all the while making the galaxy a little safer. All he needed now was a bigger, better vessel to steward him across the stars. High Magistrate Greef Karga comes through for him but it doesn't turn out quite the way the Mandalorian would've liked. His old ship barely makes it through it's first hyperspace jump and he finds himself stranded on the small moon of Tsalost II. Enter Shanze Verren, the mechanic he hopes can get him back on track.

“Of course,” Tristan mock-agreed, dabbing the wound. “The one time I ditch my jetpack, my Alor flies straight into a nexu den unattended.”
Alor shrugged, wincing. “Where’s the cauterizer?”
“The— you use a cauterizer?” Tristan stared. “How are you even still alive? No, you’re not getting a cauterizer. I’m not getting disemboweled by the medic. Manda…” Alor sighed.
“You know you’re making it worse, right? When you do crazy mandokar stuff like that. Six nexu. Krayt dragons. Mudhorns. Dark troopers.”
“Giant ice spiders,” supplied Alor unhelpfully.
Tristan stared, then narrowed his eyes in a glare. “Yeah, giant ice spiders. If you still had a shred of hope to not be Mand’alor, you’re doing a pretty bad job of proving you’re unfit. This os’ik is the stuff of legends, a mythic Lone Warrior on quests. Might I remind you, this trip was supposed to be down time.”
“Yeah,” Alor sounded tired now. “Maybe when I’m dead.”~

No; for Nicole Johnson, it's best that he keeps his distance.
But want her, he does. He can control it, though; he refuses to let baser, animal urges ruin her life by taking it too far. There's no sense in a woman her age being tied to a man like him - not when she has so much more life to live.

Summary

Din Djarin is a Mandalorian. Sworn to his creed, he acts as a hired mercenary and bounty hunter to survive. His next job? To bring back the heir of Fidelis to be tried for treason.
Din and Venelia are different, but are both trying to find their place in the galaxy and must work together to overcome challenges neither of them are prepared for.
