Summary
Glen has seen all of her movies, from the tiniest roles, to her big breakout role that landed her at the Golden Globes alongside her co-star, Dalton Lane. Glen wants nothing more than to sit in a room with her, speak to her, and work alongside her. He might even say he's her biggest fan, but he'd never let on about it.
Isla wants nothing to do with fame and fortune, especially the way Dalton wants it. Isla can't stand it. She is happiest at home, in her cozy apartment, writing script after script, hoping something will take off.
Glen and Isla are introduced through a mutual friend and all he can think of is how gorgeous she looked that night and how badly he wanted to work with her. But how can he possibly make that happen?
The first step is asking. Glen goes on a wild goose chase trying to connect with her when through chance, he ends up at a table read with her. Set to star next to her as the male lead.

“Do you want to break up?” You asked him, shoving him and even with his substantially larger frame he barely caught himself with all the traps of equipment on the floor.
“Hmm?” You shoved him again but he caught your arms this time. “Stop” he said quietly but you didn't even hear him.
You fisted your hands and flared your nostrils. “Fucking tell me so I can pack my shit if that's what you w-”“No, you miserable, enraging, bitch!” He yelled down at you, voice strained from all the yelling he'd been doing.
Not being with you was the last thing he wanted.
“I don't!” He roared.
“I fucking don't!” He told you sternly, pressing his lips into a thin line. Desperation and anger as evident on his features as it probably was on yours.
