Sanji opened his mouth and closed it.
“You were speaking different languages. Last night but also back on the rock.” Zeff spoke gently, Sanji didn’t know what his expression was, he couldn’t look at him yet. “I only knew one or two of them myself, but anyone can tell when someone is asking for help no matter what language they speak.”
Sanji closed his eyes.
“I-I don’t know.” He kept his hands in his hair. “I don’t know how many languages I know. I just know them. I can’t explain why.”

Summary
Peering over the edge, Zoro expected to see a Sea King, maybe some debris floating in their wake, or perhaps one of the ship's smaller boats had come loose. Instead, what he saw made his breath catch in his throat and his heart skip several beats.
There, illuminated by the ethereal glow of the moon reflecting off the water's surface, was Sanji. But this wasn't the Sanji he'd known for years, the chain-smoking cook who kicked his way through battles and flirted with every woman they encountered. This Sanji was something else entirely, something that belonged more to legend than reality. Where the cook's familiar long legs should have been was an elegant, powerful tail that seemed to capture and reflect every ray of moonlight.
Zoro stood there, his mind struggling to process what he'd seen. A mermaid. Sanji was a mermaid. The implications hit him like physical blows, the danger this put their cook in, the trust that would be shattered if anyone with ill intentions discovered the truth, the sheer vulnerability of the secret he now carried.
As the swordsman finally made his way back to his own quarters, one thought echoed in his mind above all others: How long had Sanji been carrying this burden alone?

It had been delicious, had tasted so sweet, but it was never meant to last before it was taken away from him by his family. Now, Sanji realized he was never going to be free. The taste of freedom soured in his mind and soul, never to be thought of again.
But a hand was reaching out to him, attached to a smile, a straw hat and a promise of being free.
He could only hope he had the strength to take the hand. The courage to taste freedom again.

“Luffy, what’s he talking about? What’s going on?” Sanji finally broke the silence.
“His village is starving,” Luffy replied matter-of-factly from his perch on the desk, one leg up supporting his arm, the other dangling. “They’ve had a bad fishing season, their land’s dry, and the jungle too dangerous for them to forage in. They tried to fish further in the ocean, but it’s all lost from the storm.”
The room fell quiet after Luffy’s explanation, waiting for a response. The man whispered ‘please’ over and over as tears fell from his eyes, fingers tightening in the sheets. Sanji glanced around the room, hands tucked in his pockets.
Finally, with a shrug, he spoke, “Then we feed them.”

Or the Straw Hats are sailing away from Wano when they come across a shipwrecked survivor. When they take him aboard, the man begs them to help his starving village. Sanji steps up to the task and the Straw Hats make their way to the remote island. Once there, Robin can't shake the feeling that something is off and her intuition is right as things take a turn for the worse when the crew is separated and the three strongest members go missing.Bookmarked by Nebset

Zoro was the only adult of the pack, which made him the Omega responsible for looking after those unhinged pups. Except for Sanji, as he was an adult Alpha who knew his way around perfectly.
Or that was what he thought, until he discovered that Sanji was also a pup just like the others.
That changed everything.

Leo stares, looking for any sign of deception. The turtle keeps talking, almost as if he’s trying to get the words out before his brain can catch up. “We’re a team. We fight crime and save people. I have a father. We call him Splinter. He’s a rat. Used to be a human. Adopted me and my brothers, taught us ninjitsu.”
Leo’s paralyzed. He waits for the snickers, or for the punchline.
The turtle does not shirk away, eyes bright with the maniac look that Donnie gets when he proves a theory correct and is dying for a single person to acknowledge that he’s the smartest being on planet earth.
“So. Leo.” It’s conversational, calm, eager. “What’s your family like?”

______________DogDay never expected a fun day with his friends to suddenly end with him waking up in an unfamiliar, run-down factory, with no clear ideas on how he could've gotten there in the first place.
He also didn't expect to run into a CatNap that was so different from the one he knew.
Accompanied by a human named Angel, he will have to journey through a place called Playcare, get past the ones who dwell there, uncover the factory’s dark secrets in order to help those who need it, and hopefully, eventually, find a way back home.
AKA: Poppy Playtime except SC!DogDay is also there now, and as a result, some things change while other things remain the same.
