I didn't think my life was perfect. I didn't have the perfect job or the perfect house or the perfect car. I knew my life wasn't perfect, but I was happy. I had a decent job, I lived in a two bedroom apartment with my boyfriend who loves me and cares for me. Yes my life wasn't perfect but I didn't mind living this normal non perfect life. It was infinitely better than growing up and living a “perfect” life where whatever you did was never good or perfect enough. That lifestyle suffocates you and kills you day by day till your days become a blur and one day you wake up and say enough is enough and you run away.
My life wasn't perfect but I was happy.
