Summary
After the loss of his daughter, Dean is struggling to keep his life on track. Now separated from his ex-wife, Lisa, he shares custody of his remaining son, Ben. He tries to repair his broken relationship with him with help from his brother and his brother´s boyfriend but it all changes when Ben goes missing. The FBI sends his special agent Castiel Novak to help with the ongoing investigation about a series of murders where the only clues are an origami figure, orchids and that all the victims where little kids. Also there’s a private detective looking into the case, their paths will mix all to save the life of a kid and Dean will be asked what he is willing to do to save his son.

This puts them both on a strange track through life and not until they both present (at 21 for felines) does anyone really understand the depth of that promise that they made to each other. Now, 20 years later Castiel sends an invitation for Dean to visit Russia in all its glory, and see if they are compatible. It seems that they mated as children and their bond has done nothing but grow. Dean worries he won’t be good enough, and Castiel worries that he is too boring for such a vibrant mate. Can they get their heads out of their asses?

Raising a kid and going to school is hard, especially when working two jobs to make ends meet. A teaching assistant position at his university would take some of the pressure off his current financial situation. the last person Dean expected to see when he walked through the door was the alpha he had a one-night stand with in a bar the night before.
Dean still manages to talk himself into the job. That should be an end to his problems, except his kid that his boss doesn't know exists gets sick and Dean might be falling for the hot professor.
