A pause, heavy and tense. “Are you going to hold up your end of the deal?”
“What’s that, hombre?” Luis glanced over his shoulder—a mistake: Leon was already turned fully, looking at him.
“Teach me Spanish.”
“Por supuesto, querido. Whenever you’d like.” At Leon’s expectant eyebrow, he chuckled softly and translated, “Of course.”
Leon was still looking and it was all Luis could do not to turn away again. “Then what’s ‘querido?’”
Turning back to his locker, he said, “It’s a term you can use with your friends.”

It was supposed to be a light-hearted thing, a charity fundraiser with the newly-reformed Umbrella corporation. Police officers sold as dates for the night to the highest bidder. Leon is not interested in keeping some stuffy rich person company. In fact, he's contemplating running away as fast as he can manage.
Before his inevitable time, though, he runs into a mysterious man who'd taken a break from the party. They . . . hit it off, to say the least. And when it's Leon's turn on the podium, there's only one person he has his eyes on.

He distantly heard Blake’s voice reach the thousand mark, though all of the people betting on him were faceless wraiths, their avaricious claws digging into anything they could reach.
The voices tapered to a hush. Leon hadn’t even heard the final number.
He bit his lip, caught himself doing it, forced himself to stop.
The faces were all turned to him, eyeing him like a prize, like a pet, like a slice of meat. Something to be ogled at, something to be touched and displayed.
“Going once, going twice, and sold—”
“Fifteen thousand.” Luis caught his eye and winked.

The First Flame brought Luis back. Again, and again, and again. It wanted him to reignite it and chase back the darkness polluting this world once more. Again, and again, and again.
He's long since lost count of how many years he's been struggling through this dammed, cursed village. Again, and again, and again. It was enough for one to lose their mind, especially when one had very little left in the department of 'mind' or 'memories' to even begin with. Luis wanted to know who he was. He wanted to know who he'd been.
Perhaps that's why he latches so fiercely onto this mysterious, masked stranger who suddenly blunders into Luis' life and proceeds to tip it completely upright. Perhaps that's why he feels as if he recognises the odd knight from some long lost lifetime they may have shared a millennia ago.
Luis has to know. He has to see them again.
And again, and again, and again.
For as long as the First Flame allows him, Luis is going to keep chasing his squire.

A strong hand on either hip, Luis guides his thrusts.
“There we go, querido.” He speaks in a low voice, tone dropped and accent thick. “Feel good?”
Leon chokes on his breath, spits out a rushed, “Yes. God, yes.”
Sparks fly behind his eyelids with how hard he keeps them squeezed shut, and the muscles in his arm strain with the effort of holding the pillow close to him in a vice grip. His hips stutter every few thrusts, and he chases a high that he can feel creeping up on him.
His pants still hug his hips, the fly open. The shirt has fallen back down his chest, the wet spot from his teeth and tongue and spit sticks to his stomach, caught between his body and the pillow and held there.
“Who’s making you feel this good?” Luis asks.
Under his breath, Leon answers. “You.”
The radiator hums. The rain patters against the window.
One hand leaves his hip to cup the side of his face. A thumb draws the outline of his lips, hovers at his Cupid’s bow. “Say my name, Leon.”
