Summary
The Ashford Forest, as most travelers would call it, was home to all different types of creatures, predators and prey alike. It was a popular hunting ground for smallfolk, and the noble ladies loved wandering through the cozy woods. Every once in a while though, Dunk would hear stories of people getting lost, or worse, taken.
He would hear stories about how travelers would get caught by some magical beasts if they wandered too far through the forest. Though he is fairly certain it was all just tales meant to scare children. After all, he has wandered far through the forest before and he never noticed anything troublesome.

Or: Dunk stumbles upon a fae ring and gets to know some of the local white-haired fae. What could possibly go wrong?
