Summary
What it says on the tin.
His words were rough but his touch was light as he carefully held her in place, not letting her flinch away as he began to wipe away some of the grit and grime from her face, starting with the darkest spot of the bruising on her face. Cordelia barely breathed, her eyes wide as she sat there, frozen in the face of Lucky Jack Polvora taking care of her with a tenderness she had never seen from him before. Lips parted, she kept her eyes on him as he focused on the task at hand, watching every micro expression that crossed his face and filing them away in the only functional portion of her mind. -

Summary
Toni wasn't sure what had prompted the trip into the forest. Well, no, that was a lie. She knew exactly what had prompted the trip; it was supposed to be a romantic trip for two that she'd planned as a surprise for their anniversary that had ended up being a flight from Dolomus after the latest break up with Daligar; her final break up with Daligar. No more of the on-again-off-again. This was it, for real this time. Toni promised herself she wouldn't take him back, no matter how much he begged. This trip was her escape ticket; removing his access to her while he packed up his belongings from their shared apartment and left her behind. He'd had no idea she'd even planned the trip for the two of them, and for that she was thankful. It would give her a week of space away from all the reminders of their relationship, and keep her from falling back into his toxic orbit until she was ready and strong enough to face him again. It would hopefully be enough time for her to remember how to be her own person without him stuck to her. No more Dal-and-Toni. Just plain old Toni.

Summary
"Can't you heal yourself?" she asked him softly. "Like you did to me?" She watched as he grimaced further, a grunt rumbling through him and into her. Slowly he blinked his eyes open, a softness in their depths that she usually didn't see.
"I can't," he replied gruffly, just as softly. "Not without…" he trailed off for a moment, wincing as he shifted slightly, hesitant.
"Not without…?" Cordelia pressed, needing to know what he wasn't saying. His shoulders dropped as he sighed, head turning away from her as he spoke.
"Not without taking from…somebody else," he admitted to her softly.

Summary
To get his attention, Cordelia flexed her fingers ever so slightly, dragging her nails through the two different sets of hair on his head. The Tabaxi fur was soft and silky, her fingernails gently scraping over the skin at the base of the pointed feline ear. The hair on the elven half of his head was soft, but in a different way. Longer strands that had not been properly cared for, resulting in some knots that caught and trapped her fingers, her thumb ghosting over the tip of the slightly pointed elven ear.
The scratching, even as gentle as it was, made him freeze mid-step. Under her fingers, she watched as his breath caught in his chest, those intense eyes shooting back to her face, wide with surprise. He swallowed hard, throat bobbing before her very eyes as his heart began to pound in his chest hard enough that she could feel it.

Eddie’s starting to suspect he’ll have to wait for Buck to come back to make him understand that, actually, it kind of was everything.

Summary
When the 118 find out about Buck’s secret thirst account on Instagram – to raise fire safety awareness, obviously – they make fun of him the appropriate amount and move on. Eddie, who has had some recent and birthmark-shaped revelations about his feelings, finds it a little harder to do the same.
Of course, Eddie would never invade Buck’s privacy by searching for and finding the anonymous account. Or looking at all the uploaded photos late at night. Or even directly messaging Buck’s secret account. That would be weird, because he’s certainly not planning on doing anything about his newfound attraction.
However, anonymous account @elbombero118 has no such limitations.
