Summary
Aerion finished his joust match as before: he killed the horse, injured Ser Humfrey’s leg, and got banned from the tournament. But he was too tired from his father’s lecture to visit the commoners’ markets, so the next day the tournament continued.
He sat in the highborn seats and watched the boring joust.
Now, it wasn’t so boring—when the wooden lance of some stupid inexperienced huge hedge knight came flying toward his father and uncle’s seats. Both were chatting with some lord and unaware until Aerion abruptly pushed them out of danger. The lance struck deep into the prince’s side. Blood was everywhere.
And that stupid knight? He now owes him a massive debt.

His case officer puts a muzzle in his bag.
But here’s the thing. Pope doesn’t misbehave. He doesn’t bite. He doesn’t speak. He hardly even looks at you. After several weeks, you still have no idea why he’s considered feral.
You treat him like a person.
Pope takes it upon himself to become your guard dog.

Summary
Jack comforts you after a particularly long day, and you're forced to face your true feelings about your 'casual' fling.
-
It's blinding. Your release tears through you without remorse, body trembling, vision blurring with the tears that spring to the corners of your eyes. His name falls from your mouth between a jumble of half-spoken curses, and then—
"I love you," you cry. "God, Jack. I love you. Fuck, fuck. Feels so—hmm."
You don't even notice that you've said it right away.
And Jack doesn't even flinch.
