Taehyung’s daemon blinks up at Jeongguk and tilts its head, bumping Taehyung’s leg as its eyebrows tilt in distress. It leaps (shockingly high) to land in Taehyung’s arms and then hides its face in his sweater, and Taehyung holds it close, protective.
Taehyung stares at the trembling creature in his arms and then looks back at Jeongguk, eyes flashing with anger and hurt. “How dare you?”
“Oh my god, Guk, you can’t just ask people what their daemon is,” Seokjin scolds.
In which souls manifest as animal creatures outside the body, Taehyung and Jeongguk start off on the wrong foot, and despite everyone's best efforts, Cooky and Tata fall in love.

Centuries-old renowned lone witch, Taehyung, is invited to be a leader at the Council of Magic after stunning the realm by starting a revolution against the subjugation of shape-shifters by adopting a notoriously ferocious one as his own familiar, Jeon Jungkook.
And despite all their differences and bickering, Taehyung thought he was making progress when Jungkook, time and again, displayed his dedicated loyalty and fierce protectiveness.

Suga chokes. It’s hard to imagine anyone calling the scowling and fierce Doctor Iwaizumi “Iwa-chan.” But marriage probably comes with all sorts of liberties.
Mrs. Iwaizumi must be quite the doting wife, Suga thinks. Delivering hand-made bentos and sending along loving messages.
No one really knows much about the new surgical resident, Doctor Iwaizumi, other than the fact that he's married. Suga's determined to find out more, and make a friend of him in the process.

His parents take him to doctor after doctor who say that, despite that he’s intelligent for his age, there’s nothing wrong with him. Nigel gives his son fat plastic toy soldiers to wave about in his chubby hands and put into his mouth. Instead, Phil makes a stage out of a baby blanket and has two of the little men carefully hop around it; lines up the rest in rows as an audience and then knocks them over when he’s finished, his face crumpling.
