Summary
After the war, supporters of Voldemort who are not deemed deserving of Azkaban are sentenced to time living in the Muggle world as part of a "rehabilitation program" and are assigned Muggle liaisons to ensure that they don't break the Statute of Secrecy as they struggle to acclimate. One of the people thus sentenced happens to be Draco Malfoy. One of the people who is assigned as a liaison happens to be Harry Potter. And, of course, they are assigned to one another.
In which Draco battles a variety of Muggle appliances, and Harry attempts to stop him from burning down a building or accidentally offing himself while simultaneously dealing with the fact that Draco looks extremely good in those Muggle trousers.

2013 (The Unpleasant Present) - Sent undercover as a Professor at Hogwarts.
Note: minding my own business, life ruined by dreadful turn of events.
Note: Potter is DADA professor, a job he took out of the blue after I graduated from Auror training. His departure happened to coincide with a momentary lapse in judgement when we may have kissed, drunkenly … (and heatedly) against a wall. One time.
Awkward? Yes.
Reason to abandon whole career? Apparently.

Draco’s face crumpled. “I’m sorry Harry, there is no way back.” It was like a bell had been struck inside Harry’s head - all he could hear was ringing. “There’s no where to go back to,” Draco moaned. “He wasn’t just trying to travel in time - he was trying to obliterate his own.” Draco choked on his tears. “There’s nothing ahead of this to travel to yet Harry.” He let out a few more hiccuping tears before finally suppressing his noises of pain. “There is no going back,” he whispered.
