Ok ok ok.. hear me out lol. What is this takes place in an AU where human Alastor and vox are enemies like normal but a little more tame with each other as they work in the same media building. (Vox in visual media, and alastor in podcast plus radio) What if the reader is like a director and comes in to help with each of their show episodes. They both like the reader and keep close eyes on her. The reader also has feelings for both of them but keeps things professional. And when they find out that the reader has been getting treated badly at work they kill the guy but the reader walks in on them doing it and runs away. She doesn’t tell anyone but avoided them the next day.

“Leaving already?” Leon hadn't realized he was fiddling with his jacket, which he threw over the chair when he first got here. The room suddenly felt strangely suffocating despite the warmth Luis had added to the otherwise bland space.
“It's getting late, I don't want to keep you up.” The excuse was lame at best; he had practically spent weeks in this room without issue. What had changed?
“I don't mind staying up, if it's with you.” Luis said with a wink and Leon had to fight to keep the impulsive smile from crawling onto his face.
That's what changed.
The jokes felt less and less like jokes, and with that came a deep-seated anxiety at the fact that he enjoyed it and found comfort in the idea of being wanted. Something he couldn't (wouldn't) allow himself, but Luis made it so difficult to remember that in the moment.
“Goodnight, Luis.”
“Night, Leon.”
After surviving the knife wound that should have been fatal, Luis struggles to find his place and purpose in a world he no longer thought he would be apart of and Leon still can't grasp the fact that Luis is here. In his life, his apartment and in his head.
