Then comes a mission that requires Batman to be the lynchpin for their success. Except there’s a problem with the execution of the plan, Batman would have to be in several places at once. He’s confident he can do it. The Justice League, for lack of any alternatives, can only go along and in the process learn more about their reclusive teammate.

“She is not part of the deal.” Zuko held the scroll firmly in his hand. Katara could see faint bits of smoke rising from his clenched fist. This was not how he expected this deal to go. Katara would’ve felt satisfaction at Zuko’s expense if it weren’t for her being the one in the crossfire.
“No, but she’s the only one we care about. Not that little bald monk or annoying water tribe boy,” the captain sneered. “This is the girl who stole from us in the first place. We have no reason to listen to you when we have all we need with her.”
“Kidnapping her will not get you your scroll back” Zuko reasoned. She wasn’t sure why he bothered to reason with them for her sake. Katara looked at the Prince, her eyes wide with visible fear. She couldn’t be bothered to hide her emotions now, there was no point. Zuko did not return her gaze; he stayed focused on the captain.
“No,” the captain agreed. “But, what would sell for more? A Waterbending scroll, or a real Waterbender?”
