Summary
Buck had been surprised when Shannon and Eddie had sat him down and told him that they all three shared a soulmate mark and that he also shared the same Parental soul mark with Chris as they did. He had been taking the time to figure out exactly what this meant for him.... for them. Shannon and Eddie had made it very clear they wanted a relationship with him but he was still taking the time to figure out his own feelings after having felt like he would never get a soulmate let alone two. Then... a ladder truck crushed his leg.

Eddie doesn't realize his feelings, but seeing Buck date makes him feel like he should get back out there. He doesn't want to be the only single one of the crew. So, when he starts to date and it's suggested he go on a double date, he takes up the opportunity to have Buck as referee and moral support. Of course, other's don't think the relationship between Buck and Eddie is just platonic. The bond only grows stronger and more noticeable as they head into another traumatic-filled year in the 118.
