He would’ve thought with such a long distraction as this, the goose would’ve been making more noise, or been trying to bite him again considering how impatient it had been all morning. But now it was just circling around Wilbur, glancing between him and the kid-

Summary
Techno's eyes portrayed something strangely familiar.
He wasn’t looking at him in malice. He did not point at Tommy and laugh, unlike how some of the other hunters had. Barely able to contain their anticipation at the sight of the ticking clock and Tommy’s collection of wrong answers.
No, Techno’s eyes refused to leave his own. Ember red carving molded shapes of themselves into petrified blue, and Tommy could finally place where he’d seen that look before.
It hung off of every street kid in The Pit. Dripped from drugged faces in dingy alleyways at night. He’d seen that look on his very own face, in the harsher of winters or when the lottery grain inevitably ran dry.
Techno’s eyes read that of raw want.
And they were currently fixated on Tommy.

Summary
Francesca punches like a dream. It wasn’t quite the first thing Bailey noticed about her, but it certainly left the strongest impression: split lip, black eye, three stitches and a scar that takes Bailey weeks to stop chewing on when she’s nervous. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
