This series is called bite-verse only because I keep stealing titles from bite by troye sivan, NOT because simon was bitten in this one.
The works in this series are all related and take place, in my mind, in the same AU, but they vary from smutty works to more general fics exploring the worldbuilding of this AU that lives rent free in my brain. They are sorted in chronological order from the beginning of the story to the end of the story as much as possible, but due to the order in which I wrote these (aka VERY out of order) there may be some overlaps.

Summary
While Simon is following the mysterious voice to the coordinates she had given him, the rest of the world is wondering what really happened during the quiet rapture.
Within a second Mars and all spaceships and stations with inhabitants had disappeared. The people on earth are scared and confused. They didn't know why or how it happened. Twenty-one years later local science teacher, Ryland Grace, gets a visit from a woman who claims she's working with the Petrova taskforce. The astrophage, the only residue left where Mars and the stations disappeared, is moving towards Tau Ceti and clustering there.
What does this mean? Is earth in danger of disappearing, too, and are the people lost in the rapture truly lost?Or; Grace ends up on a mission to find out the reason for the quiet rapture and falls into a wormhole.

Simon wakes up in complete blackness, no glowing camera button, no spark of electricity… just fucking blackness.He slowly sits up, his hair pulling bits of congealed blood up with him; there is at least 5 inches of the stuff all around him. He sticks his arm out to feel for the wall of the sub but comes up with empty space; he moves a little further, still nothing.
He slowly gets up and walks forward, holding his hand out until he hits something, a large, smooth, curved object. He feels along it and realizes that this is the outside of the sub… he's out… he's… he's actually fucking out!
