Summary
The longer Grace spends with Rocky, the more he wishes he could touch him. Grace has never been a very tactile person, but something about his alien roommate has him contemplating what it would be like to throw an arm around him or grab his hand without the xenonite between them.
It's not like Grace has anyone else to touch these days.

Rocky squeaks, a rush of air from his vents in a short burst. Scandalized.
“Put inside!? No no no. Disgust! Grace think like pervert! No no no.”
“It was an innocent question! Humans put their penises in any hole that can fit! Even stuff that isn’t alive, like, food or—”
Another squeal, this time Rocky stands on three legs. His two limbs used currently for his arms wave erratically.
“Perverted! Perverted! Perverted! Grace disgust! All human species disgust!”

He’s actively stepping around Rocky, stepping over him, and heading towards the other end of the lab, cabinets and rows of samples. He could find something else here to look at, check up on the Taumoeba farms…
Except, he doesn’t even make it to the threshold to cross the hallway of the ship. His feet stop. A complete, precise standstill.
Rocky had chittered at him, a short burst of notes, monosyllabic in Eridian despite the layers of chords. He registered it not as any word, yet the command still struck.
Stay.
Heeled. Like a dog.
And it wasn’t by any doing of Grace’s own decision making.

Rocky can't control his body anymore. This human body is as foreign as it was when he first woke up in it. He tips forward, leaning towards Grace like a sunflower growing towards the sun. "How to— How Grace feel sexual arousal, question?" he asks.
"Me?" Grace turns to look at him, puzzled. "Oh, you mean the person doing this? Well, there's something called a prostate, and if it's stimulated, the person will derive sexual pleasure from it."
Grace should not look at him. Especially when he's moving his fingers in and out of his hole. He slides a second finger in—and Rocky watches, eyes dilated, as Grace's hole stretches around his fingers.

Summary
Rocky and Grace have been alone for so long, that it was only natural that they became (perhaps unhealthily) attached to the only other person they could interact with for several years. Separating them, even for very necessary reasons, isn't fun for either of them.
When Rocky gifts Grace a stuffed animal to ease the loneliness, Grace quickly becomes almost just as attached. Rocky, on the other hand, starts to wish that Grace would (and could) hold him like that.-----

“What human do when restless, question?” Rocky asks me from his starfish position. I half-ass one last sit-up, then flop onto my back, mirroring him.
“Uh. Depends on the human, I guess,” I say, chest rising and falling as I recover my breath. I wrack my brain for examples. “Exercise, mostly. Like going for a walk, or to the gym—that’s a special building just for exercising. Or, you know you can play sport, go dancing, have sex—”
Rocky perks up at that last word, and I immediately regret it.
