Wooyoung, a transman who knew, too well, how to hide in plain sight, learned also how to hate himself and others trapped in this small town; drier than a dust bowl but recently, growing. A new train depot. A new railmarshal.
But every day for Woo was the same; he wishes he weren’t happy his daddy was dead, wishes he could quit that dead-end job at the Inn washing bedding and scrubbing men’s backs for half-pennies. The job his mother had done her whole life, too. A whore’s lot. He feels like there’s nothing left but this. Til a stranger comes into town, and makes everything much, much worse.

Sukuna tilted his head, regarding him the way a cat might regard a wounded bird: mild curiosity, no real concern. “Shoot.”
Yuji stared at the scarred tabletop, tracing a knife-carved initial with his thumbnail. His chest felt tight, like someone had wrapped steel bands around his ribs and kept tightening.
“My labs came back,” he said. The words tasted like ash. “Semen analysis. Turns out…” He swallowed hard, throat clicking. “I’m shooting blanks.”

A satin robe hangs off his shoulders, completely open, and Sukuna would deem it an accident if Megumi wasn't looking at him directly. Purposeful as he lets the robe fall to the floor, and Sukuna's eyes fall along with it.
Over an expanse of smooth skin. Stopping at a bush of dark hair between Megumi's long legs as the only standout.
