Summary
Chara is a Yeerk trying to survive the invasion of Earth, with aspirations of being a caretaker that were never fulfilled, and so instead xe has been assigned a human child as a host. Out in the world under the ever-pressing eye of the Empire, and with a best friend involved in the Peace Movement, Chara isn't exactly sure how xe's going to get out of this one.
But then again, it's not like any of the Yeerks were going to make it out alive, so. Maybe xe can keep something else safe.

Senku’s eyes blew wide open, irises cold and calculating. “Re-petrification?” He spoke aloud, quickly dismissing the concern of any possible sickness at the way his eyes adjusted quickly, facing the popcorn ceiling. The ceiling that most definitely was not in the stone world, which were hatch and straw or stone based off- “Kidnapping? No, that’s-” He brought up two fingers to his face, quickly going through the motions of calculations and equations. His head rushed through numbers and possibilities, and he stared at the solar system model that was in the corner.
Wait. That was made when he was eight, correct? So that means-
Until he realized with a sickening snap that put everything into reality- the room stopped spinning and shifting, and everything was clear and in 4k. He felt his chest tighten.
“It worked,” He breathed. “It really worked.”
Ishigami Senku succeeded in time travel, and he's absolutely going to make it everyone's problem.
....
(Featuring Sengen, concerned Byakuya, lots of angst and fluff, and original characters that want to put Senku in a blender to examine his brain.)

" Two shimmering, iridescent white wings, faded to pale green at the ends of its gorgeous feathers, were protruding from the man's back below his shoulders. The smeared blood on the quills splattered on the ground glinted dark red, almost black in the moonlight. They unfurled, spreading its wingspan towards the stars in the sky, curved and so beautifully reflective of the sky.
Senku could feel the new muscles of the extra, but somehow not foreign, limbs stretching gracefully. The pain in his back was reduced to a dull ache, and he felt pure relief as he felt the new limbs give a final shiver, the feathers rattling together with a soft sound. There was a moment of stunned silence, the only sound being Senku's ragged breathing.
Senku Ishigami just grew wings, and they were beautiful. "
...(Or; Senku doesn't remember anything from before he was rescued by Stanley Snider and adopted by Byakuya. 3,700 years later, he's answered by a pair of wings.)

The children yearn for the 21st Century again and Minami Hokutozai is looking for the biggest journalistic scoop in this Stone world. The night sky is all wrong and Nikki Hanada finds she might actually miss school. The past is sweet and Gen Asagiri is uncertain that the future can be the same.

Searching in the former room of Sybil he found the former research of the astronomers and discover a place that was not affected by the visitor, Mt Ebott. He doesn't know why but it seems there is some kind of barrier that keep the place safe during the end of the world.
With only that as his last hope to survive, Sam and his friends go to Mt Ebott but the exalted four find them, taking them one by one until it was only Sam and the childrens.
