Summary
Fighting Optimus Prime happened as usual for Megatron—desperate clashing that said more than words ever could. Yet now Megatron wasn’t acting right—he wasn’t fighting like he usually did; soon enough, he ran away from the fight.
Optimus follows him only to see him giving birth.
(I’m not good at summaries but uh Megatron gives birth! There is an implied relationship between Megatron and Optimus Prime.)

Megatron has abandoned Soundwave, turning to the autobots—to Optimus prime, leaving Soundwave in absolute misery. However, it occurred to Soundwave this defection was because Megatron had been steered off to the wrong path by the Prime himself.
So Soundwave does the only thing a mech could do to get their leader back to them..
turn them into one of his cassetticons! Forcing a bond that would allow Megatron to hide nothing from him, or to run away from him again.
OR: Soundwave forces Megatron to stay by his side in the only way he knows how—with 24/7 surveillance!
