Summary
Jax relapses before the Lightning Round adventure, wearing a flannel to cover it up. Blinded by derealization, having a mindset of nothing mattering or being real, he thinks nothing of it other than the pain he achieved that night. A drunken puddle, he makes a fool of himself at the bar. On the baseball field, one vote straps him into the frilly, girly, maid dress. But he's more exposed than anybody would have guessed.
All he can do is stand there, and they're all still raw.

Jax is fine.
Completely and totally fine.
He's fine when his best friend suddenly becomes aggressive and turns on him. He's fine when he starts pushing everyone else away. He's fine after fighting with Pomni when she claims they're friends. And he's sure as hell fine when he locks himself and his room, slowly beginning to abstract.
Jax's world is coming down around him and he struggles to admit that he's lost control, that maybe he's never been in control.
When he started to abstract he didn't expect to wake up. He didn't expect the rest of the circus to suddenly be rallying with him after everything he said and did.
And he definitely didn't expect that he might finally have to admit, to himself and everyone else, that he's not okay.
(OR: After episode 6 Jax starts to abstract. The gang finds a way to stop it but there are… consequences. Jax is forced to think about his past and becomes angry at the idea that he once again could be hopeless. But is he really?)

When Jax woke up from his nap, the first thing he saw was a white gloved hand, it just seemed to be floating there, not doing anything. His first thought was Kinger, but he had locked his door, and why would the loony chess piece have wanted to be in his room anyway?
So it must have been a glitch then, it wouldn’t be the first time that something weird like this would have happened anyway, but it was slightly unnerving.

“You understand why I can’t let you go?” Caine says in a hush.
Jax’s breath comes out in a shudder. The AI was trained off violence, yet has never enacted it against them. It lives inside his code, stifled and suppressed for their benefit, not because it's what he wants. Jax trying to beat the teeth out of his jaw was probably the closest he's ever gotten to getting what he wants.
They were the same, doomed to never have what they truly want, if only for the sanity and security of all the others. They were alone in this, together.
“I’ll give you death ad nauseum,” Caine coos, the hands at his waist squeezing ever so lightly, "and you will hate me for it.”

Unfortunately, Sasuke is in that 0.062, and this second puberty bullshit was even worse than the first one! To make matters worse, he has never felt more humiliated or gross, and his teacher is awkward and unhelpful. His teammates are acting strangely, too. Weirder than usual.
