Summary
Ship Engineer ‘Rocky’ of the B.L.I.P.-A knows that he’s going to die in Tau Ceti, he's known since the day that he joined the taskforce as their chief mathematician and engineer. That hasn’t stopped him from holding out all alone in his ailing ship, trying desperately to complete the mission on his own.
God willing, of course. Earth is doomed if he doesn’t.

Summary
Cloned Governor KA3-5555555 of the Blue-hat Cat colony ‘Curiosity’ is in trouble. The crops are struggling, the population is stagnant, and communication with home is at an all-time low on account of the nearby galactic GELF civil war nearing its conclusion ‘any day now’ and a government that seems more interested in self-congratulation than actually helping those posted in the outskirts of their glorious empire.
Still, short of Cloister himself showing up uninvited; he might just about turn this dustbowl around.

With an engineering fault trapping civilians on board an aeroplane attached to a launching space shuttle, a mysterious ship straying close to a cosmic fault line and sending out a distress signal only old computers can read, an underwater resort sunken with people slowly suffocating within, and an earthquake trapping people under a mountain landslide, it was safe to say that international rescue were having a bit of a busy day.
Oh, and Alan Tracy has just been expelled from school. Oh boy.

Grace promises Stratt that when he remembers he didn’t volunteer, he’ll sabotage the mission, no matter how much work he’s done to save Earth. On the off chance he isn’t bluffing, Stratt decides to put touch up doses into his food every day.
This makes his amnesia way, way worse. How do you navigate life on a spaceship, on a suicide mission you don’t know the reason for, when you forget where you are every night?

Now he must survive on a planet covered almost entirely by water, uncover what happened to his ship, figure out how and why exactly he ended up light-years from where he's supposed to be and also possibly save the world? Assuming the local wildlife doesn't eat him first.

What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.

Cowering from the spectre of the mysterious illness that killed their whole crew, Doctor Salvationseeker-Coordination-2-1, primary microbiologist of the spaceship, is terrified, lost, and so painfully alone. They can’t fix this, they know. They were doomed and so was their planet.
The passing centuries had all but drained them of hope. But then. An alien ship, heading towards them, possibly here for the same reason they were.
Now all they had to do was convince the aliens to work with them, with absolutely no knowledge of their culture or language. Easy, right?
But if they could pull it off, perhaps then, they could save both their worlds.
