Feeling restless, he drove up to Alberta, Canada to start a new life, became a cage fighter in the local bar in Laughing City and tried to find his new normal...until things got complicated.
Bucky Barnes was a disgrace for his family. After that dreadful night in which a car accident left him with only one arm, things haven’t been easy for him. Who would want him now? But, that was not all; the real problem was that after the accident, he presented as an Omega. Who would want a one-armed Omega?
After getting a new arm (thanks to a close friend) and feeling a little bit confident he decided to leave everything and everyone behind and run away as far as he could get.

Natasha audibly sighed. “Ok, James, since you don’t wanna prove to yourself and me that you look better on those heels, I win,” said Natasha grinning.
“Like hell!” Bucky answered, and struggling to keep his balance he stood up and walked around the room. His legs, trying to support the added height, wobbled a little.
Terrified, he looked at the floor with every single step he took.
“Chin up Barnes,” Natasha said.
“I’m trying, Jesus!” Bucky responded.
He walked around a little bit more and once he was in front of his full length mirror he thought: Huh, I don’t look so bad.
His legs looked longer, his calves sculpted and his ass looked perky.
Bucky smiled.
“Feeling good, huh?” Natasha smirked, standing close to him, slapping his butt firmly.
Bucky gasped and tensed up.
“Natasha!”
“Oh Bucky, admit it, you like what you see, but still... I think I can definitely pull this off way better than you.”
“Oh yeah? And why is that?”
“Because you my dear, lack confidence. That’s what makes anyone attractive and desirable.”. . . .
What started as a silly thing, turned into a amazing discovery.

It was crazy to want to compete and win a place in the Annual Entrepreneurs Fair of his high school, where the big prize would be to finance the opening of a small business. That day would be filled not only with its teachers and directors, but also with people genuinely interested in the innovative ideas of the students, with the promise of contributing financially to fulfilling their dreams.
Several laughs and murmurs reached his right ear, (of which he still had 50% hearing), saying things like:
A loser.
A nobody.
A queer.
Discreetly, he readjusted his hearing aid in his left ear, lowering the volume to drown out the offensive comments. That kept him standing in line for another 15 minutes. -

Varias risas y murmullos alcanzaron su oído derecho, (del cual todavía conservaba el 50% de audición), y de los que pudo rescatar cosas como:
Un perdedor.
Un don nadie.
Un marica.
Discretamente, se re-ajustó su aparato auditivo en la oreja izquierda, bajando el volumen para no seguir escuchando tanta ofensa. Eso lo mantuvo parado haciendo fila por otros 15 minutos. -
