    Jason ran into something black, more giving then a wall but not by much. He fell back, landing hard on the concrete, the cold and damp immediately starting to sink into his bones.

    A horrible black demon was standing above him, the thing seeming to fill his whole vision, edges stretching and distorting into infinity.
    It made a horrible distorted noise and reached toward him, as he scrambled back frantically on his hands and knees.

    This takes place in the same universe as "Superman's Pal, the Shadow Demon"!

    The shadows of Gotham had come alive.
    The creature was massive, taller than a man, writhed in shadows, that seemed to move with an unnatural breath.
    It was made of shades of black, the darkest forming its head, hands and feet, and pooling around it, resembling a cape or wings, like those of a bat.
    Tall horns extended from it’s head, reminiscent of the ears of a bat, long claws tipped it’s hands.
    The only part that looked human at first glance was the lower half of it’s face, which was the grey of a corpse, traceries of black veins visible beneath the skin.
    It’s eyes glowed white, almost seeming to suck him into them.

    Gordan swallowed, trying to clear his throat, not to scream, a scream would be useless in Gotham, but to ask a question.
    The creature reached out cautiously toward him with the back of a hand, the way a human would approach an unfamiliar cat
    “Are you the one who has been leaving criminals tied up outside the station?”

    Superman sat down in his chair and a moment later, black hands appeared to materialize out of his shadow, settling on his shoulders. A shape slowly pulled itself out of his shadow, seeming to need a moment to flow and solidify. It pushed itself upward, seeming to “perch” on Superman’s shoulders as it took in the room. The shaped vaguely resembled a man, but the proportions and angles were … wrong. It had tall bat-like ears and the only parts of it that were not black as pitch, was it’s corpse coloured skin, and blank, white, glowing eyes.
    It's eyes flicked across the assembled heroes, seeming to look into the depths of their souls.

    Was it an accident? Yes. Was it Crow's fault? Also yes. Were they all grounded? Absolutely. Is Bruce probably hysterical and crying trying to find where the fuck his children disappeared to? Yes and Alfred would like some help calming him please.

    Tim 'Crow' Drake decided to try to boost his powers by using the Lazarus Pit so he can have authentic Chinese takeaway via Beijing, and instead ends up in CanonComicsVerse. Oops.
