“Relax!” said Hinata, throwing her a 100 watt smile over his shoulder. Yachi was sure it somehow illuminated her face as she was illegally sneaking through the bushes, giving away her location for everyone to see. “This is our last day here, there’s no more trouble to get into.”
“Stop smiling at me, I’m gonna get arrested!” she accused, almost toppling over a root she didn't see because she was wearing goddamn sunglasses at night.
Kageyama caught her by the hood of her over-sized hoodie and almost choked her in the process. Well – that wasn’t so bad. She was sure that she was going to die tonight, so she would prefer it to be a quick death. The best-case scenario would be to leave this world before the dean stuffed his toupee down her throat in anger.

Tsukishima somehow managed to keep a straight face while Kuroo put a hand to his mouth and made a sound that was a mix between a howl and a croak and ended with a softening chant of “shit shit shit shit shit.”
“Okay,” said Tsukishima when he was done. “First of all – there is no way I’m doing this. Second of all – what exactly am I not doing?”
“It’s a mating call,” said Kuroo. “We need to attract… a bird.”
Now, this really got Tsukishima suspicious. “Is that so?”
“Yes, I youtubed bird mating calls and that’s what it sounds like.”
“Including the ‘shit shit shit’ part?”
“No, that part was added specifically for the kind of bird we’re trying to mate with.”

Akaashi agreed with a nod and even Tsukishima could only shrug and say, “You are.”
Kuroo folded his hands over his heart and beamed like a little boy before he remembered that despite his apparent hotness, he still failed to be the victim of a random snog-attack. “Then why have none of you kissed me yet?” he demanded.
“Because you’re prudish.”
“Prudent,” Akaashi corrected.
“I can’t possibly be more prudent than Tsukki, come on!”
“Tsukishima only acts like it – you can see his true personality when he’s drunk,” Bokuto said wisely.
“It’s true,” said Tsukishima. “My true personality is very promiscuous.”
