There is no sign of you—only scorched earth, shattered armor, and your bow lying where it shouldn’t be. He doesn’t need a body to understand what that means. By the time he’s pulled away from the clearing, the truth has already settled heavy in his chest.

Unfortunately, not every cat he knows wants to be converted to a Clan cat. Even more unfortunately, they just don't adhere to the world in his dream. Despite this, Firestar is determined to found the Clans... again. Determined, and maybe a little crazy.
