    Guardians are simply born or summoned to serve their masters and provide protection. Guardians could be anyone - majins, goblins, elves, or even powerful beings such as True Dragons or True Heroes. They are quite rare and require a lot of effort to be summoned from another world. Most Guardians are Otherworlders, taken from their own world to provide protection for their dedicated masters. Their loyalty is the most important rule amongst Guardians, even if their masters treat them as nothing but weapons. Giving Guardians a name will create a contract between them and their masters, giving them shared skills and connecting their souls. If this contract breaks, the Guardian is banished from the world and will cease to exist.

    You are one of them. However, being a guardian of Rimuru Tempest isn't bad at all. He's just a cute, lovable slime with a cute, lovable personality. Protecting him should be easy.

    After a particularly bad day, which included getting suicide baited, meeting a cute girl who actually talked to him and gave him a strange card, nearly getting murdered and possessed by a sludge villain, meeting his idol, having his dream crushed by said idol, and finally getting abandoned on a roof by his idol, Izuku sees only one choice. He decides to take his bully's advice and jump off the roof, hoping for a quirk in the next life. Now, normally one would think that jumping off a six story building, that would be the end. But for Izuku, it was only the beginning of his new crazy life.
