Summary
This is a treat for teine_mallaichte using their Templars and Anders prompt
Setting is post Dragon Age 2. Inquisition timeline has begun, the breach is doing its green glowy thing.
Anders has no one left. He's been on the run. Popping from one group of mages to another. Not all the mages, even, like him these days.
Tomas is a Templar who was a bit of a teacher's pet type of a guy, and he's been displaced from his assignment because.. well.. Chantry go Boom! And the Circles collapsed. And a bunch of his former order have decided to partner up with that ancient magister guy and his red lyrium hoard.
But... old habits die hard. Tomas sees an opportunity to capture an apostate. So he does. But what does he do with a mage when there's no Circle to return him to?
And what does a mage do when he has no friends left and nowhere, really, to go?

Alternate summary: A Templar and a Mage are stuck together, survive an Ordeal, and decide to continue to stick together.

This is a mash up of four prompts for xkatchy because I COULD NOT DECIDE ON JUST ONE.
Cioba (xkatchy's OC Rook) is bringing the Fifth Talon to a meal at the Lighthouse at Lucanis's request. He and Bellara are prepping the meal but Lucanis needed to speak with Viago briefly about Illario.
Davrin maybe bites off more than he can chew when he teases Bellara about her recent, very exclusive book club, because Manfred and Spite decide to take matters into their own hands to rally behind their favorite Veil Jumper.

The suspect?
Elgar’nan.
The place?
Elgar’nan's grand hotel. He's hosting another high society ball. The detectives are hoping to use the ball as a means to uncover Mythal's whereabouts.
And if they can get the slave trader, Elgar’nan, locked away at the same time?
Perfect.
The real question, though, is whether Rook can handle seeing her old flame.
And whether he can handle seeing her.
Because Elvhen, LLC's lead detective is Solas. And she and Solas... well... they used to be close. Closer than close.

All throughout Denerim word of Queen Anora and her disgraced-but-working-toward-redemption father, Loghain spread with reckless abandon. Talk of them was inescapable.
To add insult to injury, the man responsible for the death of his half-brother... and Duncan... was now a Grey Warden.
Well, that was alright. Just fine and dandy. After all, Alistair had chosen to cut himself off from the Order when he left. So it's not like there was anything to directly tie them together.
Nope.
He had found his way to Kirkwall and contented himself with drowning his woes in ale.
Bad ale.
But it did the job.
He figured he'd probably just waste away here... in the... The Hanged Man?
What a way to go.
Or... maybe it was time to move on.

Summary
This is a collection of love stories. Some are tragedies. Some are feel-good.
I love taking characters who got very little attention in-game and giving then a fleshed out story.
I also love redeeming bad guys.
And I love rarepairs.
Started out as Veilguard characters but I'm branching out a bit and now this collection includes any short stories within the Dragon Age universe.
There is smut... but there is as much (or more) emphasis on story.
I really enjoy including bits of lore or in-game dialogue/events to match the stories I weave so they almost seem like they could fit.
