The figure that looms gives a tut of disapproval and for the first time in almost half a week, Shadow Milk cookie speaks.“You're a rather hard cookie to pin down!” he says it like it's a remark on the weather. Like he isn't a being compiled of dough and nightmares that's been plucking at Pure Vanilla's sanity like the strings of A harp desperately out of tune.

With little care Satoru pulls the blindfold down to pool around his neck. He blinks and is immediately disappointed when the viscera only grows more pronounced. Arms brace on the cold tabletop and Satoru rakes his fingers carefully through Yuuji’s hair. There’s some dirt, most likely from the rubble of the battlefield. But it’s still feather soft and light and Satoru wants to bury his face in it to hear Yuuji croon his name.

There’s a squeak and Yuuji makes a half assed attempt to escape until Sukuna growls. The sound is low and deep and rumbles in the very space between them causing Yuuji to lock up. His eyes are wild with surprise and enough obedience for Sukuna to finally study what’s been hidden in front of him.

Yuuji is perched on the man's lap, too paralyzed to do little more than squeak when a chin settles on his shoulder and the man murmurs, “go ahead. Why don’t you play a game? I saw you lookin for somewhere to sit.”
A little alarm bell is trying to shriek in Yuuji’s head, but it’s muffled by the booze that’s still settled on his nerves like a soft blanket.The chatter of the patrons around them isn't helping, effectively drowning all reason until Yuuji shyly looks back and says, “okay, um, thank you...?”
