“Dude,” Wally says, a little pleading, then- “How long are you even gonna be stuck there anyways?”
Dick tries, desperately, to keep the hope in his chest alive. “No clue. Bruce and- and Robin are fighting, or something. I haven’t really asked.”
Wally’s response to that, at first, is just this sharp little noise. “Guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, huh?” he says only a moment later. “Or- is it an old bat, in this case? Doesn’t really sound as catchy though…”
Or: Dick Grayson is called back to Gotham to help out with protecting the city. It doesn't take long for everything to fall apart.

Obviously, I expect to see strong Gotham underground presence—Falcone and Cobblepot, at the very least—but I have reason to believe out-of-state or even international criminal figureheads will be there.”
“Like…?” Damian prompts.
“Impossible to say for sure without eyes in the actual room,” Tim says, “Which is why I’m going.”
“As the head of Drake Industries and majority shareholder for Wayne Enterprises?”
“As a hired hand,” Tim corrects, “I stand out too much in my established civilian identity. Waitstaff and caterers overhear much more.”
“And you needed Jason and Richard to accompany you?”
“Oh, no, they’re not involved,” Tim says, gesturing vaguely, “Jason is working out a weapons deal he doesn’t want Bruce to know about, and Dick is meeting up with a booty call.”

Maybe one day Damian will learn what the phrase "mind your own business" means.
