Summary
Sick and tired of not being loved by the city she was born in, inkling girl Rain moves to Splatsville for high school and the chance at a different life. There she becomes friends with Shio, a gluttonous smallfry who loves her with all of his heart.
She soon joins The New Squidbeak Splatoon as it's third agent, where she meets Captain (Iris), a mature inkling woman who feels overly responsible, Agent 4 (Summer), an inkling down on their luck and simply going through the motions in life, and Agent 8 (Melody), a mysterious octoling woman who cannot remember her past.
