“Mmm? Full moon?” Jaskier blinked, squinting against her neck. “Why tomorrow?” He asked with a pout, making the woman giggle as her hand slipped from his ribs and into his pants, grabbing a handful of the bard’s ass and squeezing it, listening to him gasp.
“Anyone who can follow a Witcher for as long as you and not perish must have some sort of… ability, or tolerance. Stubbornness, perhaps?” she questioned offhandedly, not really expecting a response, and Jaskier hummed quietly. He pressed his face to her neck again, daring as he flicked his tongue out and licked along her neck, the action making her grin wide, flashing canines all too sharp and too large to be human.
“Oh, yes. You will do lovely, dearest bard,” she said softly, pulling Jaskier along with her to a hidden hut in the woods.

He was proud of himself when he kept his tears at bay, turning to leave the stewing Witcher in his own vices. Jaskier made it halfway down the mountain before the scratching at the back of his throat made him stop and sit for a break, taking a swing of water from the skin he carried only to be sent into a violent coughing fit.
Jaskier fell to his knees at the side of the path, hacking and choking so hard tears filled his eyes before finally something dislodged and flew from his lips.
Jaskier couldn't stop the psychotic laugh that bubbled out of him while tears streamed down his cheeks.

Opening the front door to his dwelling, Peter breathed in his home’s scent to ground him. The house’s earthy aroma of pine and cedar infiltrated his nostrils as he clanked the keys in the bowl by the door. Shutting the door behind him and toeing off his shoes, his wolf’s hackles immediately rose as the fragrance of security and comfort began to intermingle with underlying scents of ozone, metal, and was that chocolate?
Taking more practiced steps towards the source, his claws elongated from his finger tips and his fangs protruded from his gum line. Approaching the kitchen where not only the origin was emitting from but a jackrabbit heartbeat was thumping to an unknown beat. Peter growled when he saw the strange figure sitting at his kitchen table like he owned the place. The young man who had wispy brown hair and a mole dotted face was drinking soda from a can and had his feet plopped up on an adjacent chair.
He almost seemed unperturbed by Peter’s presence due to his relaxed status in a werewolf’s home. Either he was naïve or just dumb. “I was wondering when you would finally get home.”
Just dumb it is.

Summary
Stiles disconnected the line and stopped at the front entrance to the building. He gazed up to look at the windows that overlooked the area. He loved it here – he loved the home he had made with Peter. Regardless of his young age at the time, they had made it work. The two of them cohabited well together. His father hadn’t been totally on board with the plan at the time due to his age but Stiles was determined and stubborn. He knew what he wanted. And for the most part, it had worked out well. Yes, as with a lot of relationships, there was some turbulence and the age difference didn’t help.
And Stiles had issues that he had having trouble dealing with. He was tired of bringing Peter down with him especially when he spiraled. Stiles believed and still does that he did the right thing two years ago.
Since he arrived back, the wolf has been kind and seemingly is okay with how Stiles handled things.
Stiles on the other hand, doesn’t know if he can ever forgive himself for when he walked out that door.

Stiles thought he overheard the other man sit due to the crackling leather sound that was probably his easy chair. “They do, hence you’re perfect. You’ll be mildly entertaining and not merely annoying as most others I could possibly invite. And, I presumed I could I bribe you with a chocolate shake and curly fries at Maxine’s after.”
Oh, he loves Maxine’s but, “do you think I’m that easy? Butter me up and throw some junk food at me and I’ll swoon to Peter Hale and be your stupid fake date?”
There was an aggrieved sigh that came over from the other side. “Fine, I’ll throw in a double bacon cheeseburger too.”
