It’s not her fault that she’s excitable, okay, and she forgets things sometimes and maybe those things should not be forgotten under any circumstances. Maybe those things include, well, housing forms, which as it turns out are super important to submit on time if she wants to not be homeless on her sophomore year of college.
Her sister’s going to give her so much crap about this.

“I’m gonna fucking kill her.” Catra shook her head, trying to wipe the stunned expression off her face. “I can’t believe she set me up on a blind date with a goddamn millionaire.”
“Yeah,” Adora said awkwardly. “Oops.”
“It’s—” Catra shook her head. “Okay, Glimmer aside, how would you paying for my tuition even work? I mean, we—we’ve only been on one date, and it’s not even over yet.”
“It’s a crazy idea,” Adora said. “I know. Just—just forget I said anything.”
Maybe it was the buzz of alcohol, or maybe it was the shock of finding out she was on a blind date with a rich person, but Catra couldn’t stop herself from blurting, “Well, I didn’t say no.”

Adora blinked, looking up at her. “What?”

Summary
After growing up together for most of their lives, Catra and Adora have a bad fallout before high school, they keep fighting for the next four years, but even in their fighting they still can’t manage to let go of each other, it’s clear to everyone that they don’t really want to. When they start to reconnect, it seems like something is finally changing, until Catra pulls away and starts avoiding Adora again.
Glimmer is done watching this mess unfold, so she decides to take the matter into her own hands and settle this once and for all. There is only so much pining someone can take.
The High School AU no one asked for.
