Summary
For years, life was simple. Saving people, hunting things—the family business. It wasn’t as easy as it sounded, of course, but it wasn’t complicated, either. Monsters killed people, and Dean killed monsters—simple as that.
Only one day, that changed. All it took was one second, just a fleeting moment of distraction during a hunt, for Dean to lose everything he’d ever had, for him to become a cursed creature like the ones he’d spent so many years of his life trying to rid this world of.
But perhaps that’s not such a bad thing, after all.

Summary
The world was saved, yet again. There was no impending Apocalypse looming on the horizon, no powerful, cosmic entities currently planning the end of their world. Heaven and Hell were at peace, for the first time in a long, long time. People could finally go on with their lives however they pleased, because now every single person was responsible for their own future. They could write their own stories. The sick, egotistical puppeteer was gone. The strings had officially been cut. For the first time in their lives, they were truly, utterly free.
But then why did Dean feel so numb? So empty? Why didn’t this feel like an actual win?
Well, he knew why, but he sure as hell wasn’t going to think about it.

Summary
After a witch hunt gone terribly wrong, Dean calls Castiel in a desperate attempt to save Sam's life, but the angel's help comes with a very high price. With Cas' borrowed Grace burning out faster every day, the Mark of Cain being more active than ever and a bottle of whiskey to top it all, a confession from Castiel sends Dean's entire life spiraling out of control.

Summary
Dean Winchester is a pretty normal teenager, with a pretty normal life. He’s got a normal family, normal friends, and he goes to a pretty normal school—well, except for the fact that the principal keeps walking around with a sock puppet, but he’s gotten used to that by now. He’s an average student, a doting older brother, and a loyal friend. He’s pretty good with cars, he can actually cook and sing, he drives around in a gorgeous black ‘67 Chevy Impala, and he dreams of becoming a famous actor one day, much to his father’s dismay.
Oh, and he has two tiny little secrets—two pieces of himself that he does everything he can to keep under wraps, hidden away from the rest of the world. He’s never told anyone about them, and if everything goes his way, he never will.
One: he’s not as straight as everyone thinks he is.
And two: he’s in love with his best friend—his very obviously male best friend.
But, really, no one needs to know about any of that.

Summary
Dean swallowed drily again, feeling his tongue heavy and weird inside his mouth, but he still managed to say, “Seriously, Cas, I... I need this. I really do. And you’re the only one who can do it. You’re the only one I trust to do this.” The hunter’s voice sounded far too hoarse, still lacking the confidence he wished to convey, and he licked his lips, looking down, focusing his gaze on a particular spot on the sheets. He fiddled with a loose thread he found there, feeling that difficulty to sit still for too long making itself known once more. He cleared his throat, and tried again, “And this is the easiest way, too. It just solves everything. You can check the damage Michael did. You can try to dig up some memories, to see if I can remember how I got this scar. And you can make sure that... that he’s really gone.” His voice did fail this time, throat feeling dry and tight, and he swallowed again to try and fix that, but it did very little to help.
The slightest hint of a feeble, empty smile tugged the corner of Dean's mouth upward, words coming out far too low and weak when he added, “Three birds, one stone, right?”
As if this really were that simple.

Summary
Apparently, in the wizarding world, having a predestined soulmate is completely normal.
Honestly, Harry really shouldn’t be surprised anymore; after all, he’s been living almost nine years in the world of witches and wizards, having come across his fair share of crazy both during his years at Hogwarts and afterwards in his job as an Auror. And so, when his twentieth birthday arrives and a single letter appears on his right wrist, it honestly shouldn’t affect him so.
Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy is busy getting his life back on track. With the war over, the Dark Lord defeated, his father incarcerated in Azkaban for life, and his new status as an Auror, Draco should for once have no difficulty enjoying his life. Except, there’s the minor issue of Harry Potter apparently being his soulmate to consider.

Summary
For a decade, Dean had been living his dream life in Montana as a national park ranger. When Sam and Eileen followed him there a few years later, he had no idea how to tell them about his side gig as the author of a wildly popular series of novels loosely based on his own experiences. Well, minus the monster hunting. He never expected them to become bestsellers—or potentially a tv series, if his agent could only convince him to out his real identity. While Dean's also writing his latest bestseller on a deadline, a misunderstanding and his own social ineptitude leave him completely cut off, aside from his new pen pal who Dean only knows as Bluebird.
Cas had spent the last two years desperate to hold Dean’s attention. Right when he felt they might be getting somewhere, Dean was called away on an emergency. Of course he had to go and lament about his troubles to a random tree, thanks to a distracting plaque inviting the public to participate in a new town project. To his surprise, he seems to hit it off— completely anonymously of course— with Western Red Cedar #2409.
Through a ridiculous series of coincidences, it could be the best thing that ever happened to either of them.

Summary
Dean is aimless, finding no way to get Cas back from the Empty.
One day, Claire shows up and drags him on a hunt, and over time Dean begins to find purpose again in traveling with Claire, helping Jody around the house, camping with Sam, and eventually starting to open up about the things he's never been able to say aloud.
In the winter, Dean takes a job for Jody’s friends, fixing up their old inn and looking after it for the season.
Time moves forward, but Cas is always on Dean’s mind. He’s going to get him back, and he’s going to say what he needs to say.
