Strangely enough a place filled to the brim with crime.Bellwood is a place that that has plenty of protectors itself, so its hometown hero, with a light push from his Grandpa Max has decided to move out. Transferring from the Plumbers to a new, temporary team, just until he can get his footing to go solo.
Said hero just so happens to be the savior of the universe.

By some… freak chain connection, when Raccoon City Syndrome woke up after 28 years, the other viruses that Leon Kennedy's had over the years are awake now too… including one shape-shifting BOW parasite that infected Leon exploring the ocean cruiser—The Starlight, which suddenly allows him to access other virus and parasite based abilities(and is suddenly willing to help him)… while his T-Virus infection still accelerates through his body.
Now with Leon more virus than man, and a young FBI analyst kidnapped into the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, what's a DSO agent to do when you're a floating petri dish, a monster?
Help. However he can. But there's questions and consequences to be had when a well-meaning parasite rears its head alongside Raccoon City Syndrome...
Or: Author smashed together ideas from all the viruses that Leon's been infected with, took a dash of inspiration from other Infected!Leon AUs, Venom, RE: Gaiden(and made it her own canon, so I'm doing my own thing with it), and Baoh the Visitor by Hirohiko Araki, and rolled it all into another self-indulgent AU. This is my version of the Infected!Leon AU.

“Me and a few of the other rookies are going out for a few drinks. You wanna come and meet the rest?” The expectation in Grayson’s eyes is almost accusing with how it makes Leon’s stomach twist. Because he can’t. Not with Sherry waiting at home. Not with so many things still up in the air. Going out to drink is on the very bottom of his list until he’s certain their house of cards won’t collapse on top of them in the next moment.
He shakes his head with an apologetic grimace. “Sorry, I already have plans. Maybe some other time though,” he quickly tags on. Then, before he can say more and dig himself into a deeper grave, he turns to leave. But not before he catches a glimpse of Grayson’s hopeful smile.
Or: After Claire leaves to look for her brother, Leon and Sherry manage to flee from Raccoon City and the military and decide to hide out in Blüdhaven. Meeting and befriending Dick Grayson there turns out to be one of the best things that could have happened to them. Or is it?
