Summary
If there was one thing that Clint knew about himself and Natasha, it was that neither of them took enough breaks. It wasn’t completely on them though, there were other factors in play, and one of those factors went by the name of Nick Fury. Fury hadn’t been holding back on missions for either or both of them, which while understandable, Clint just found tiring after a while. It probably shouldn’t have taken as long as it did, but at some point, Clint had put his food down and talked to Fury. They needed some time off, and even if Nat wasn’t going to appreciate it at the moment, she would in the future.

Summary
“So, tell me more. When you saw me at the bar — I mean, was it an instant thing? Like, did you look at me and just know?” Vincent stopped himself. “Or, wait! You had to observe me first, didn't you? That seems more like your style. And those police reports – pretty colourful execution methods! Really gives you a thrill, reading about them… Did you start flipping through your mental catalogue, when you saw me?”
“Don’t flatter yourself,” Alastor said. “I supposed I would kill you the same way I kill any other man.”
-
It's not Alastor's first time holding a man hostage and threatening to murder him. He's just not sure why this one is so excited about it.

Summary
Husk was stuck in the absolute worst gig of his miserable existence: bartending during Prohibition, working for a sadistic homicidal lunatic, and sharing a rotting apartment with a bleach-obsessed maniac.
He thought he’d seen it all—truly, the universe had finally run out of ways to surprise him.
Then came Lucifer: owner of the swankiest cabaret in the French Quarter, a man whose fingers were in every shady pie from here to the Mississippi. And now, for some obscure reason, he was blackmailing Husk’s psychotic, narcissistic boss.
What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
What do you get when a sharp-tongued spinster strikes a bargain with the most fearsome duke in England?
Lady Emma Swan is not most women. With her beloved sister dangling on the edge of a disastrous engagement to a predatory earl, she does what she does best — she thinks three moves ahead and charges straight toward danger with very little regard for consequences. If that danger happens to be the infamously terrifying Duke of Hookshire… well, she’s faced worse. Probably.
Killian Jones, the Duke of Hookshire is scarred, snarling, and perfectly content to terrify every soul within a ten-mile radius of his estate. He doesn't want company. He doesn't want a wife. And he absolutely, categorically does not want Emma Swan storming through his doors and refusing to be intimidated.
She needs him as a means to an end. He tells himself she is nothing but a nuisance. They are both, spectacularly, wrong.

Summary
In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.
He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.
