Summary
Frank Langdon is still a virgin and his senior year is ending in three months. He never really cared, his catholic parents always pushing tales of accidental pregnancies and the fiery pits of hell which kept his curiosity mostly at bay. Besides, he's too busy on the athletic track, trying to make his father proud and pave a career for himself. That is, until new girl Melissa King moves to town and they get assigned to be lab partners, and everything he ever thought about himself changes very quickly.
OR Frank and Mel are 18 and have their whole lives ahead of them, and a chance meeting has them doing what they do in every universe; meet, fall in love quickly, and change each others lives for the better.

Summary
“Well, Aunt Irene asked if you were bringing any one.”
“... And you told her no. Because I’m not bringing anyone. Right?”
“I did not do that.” Becca said, looking sideways, avoiding Mel’s eye.
Mel blanched, swallowing hard, eyelids stuttering. But she had to keep her cool. She could not yell. She could not freak out.
“I told Aunt Irene that you were bringing your boyfriend.”
“Becca,” She said, as calmly as she could, “I don’t have a boyfriend. You know that. I’ve never had a boyfriend.” The last line, in a whisper.
“Well, I told her that Dr. Langdon was your boyfriend.”
Mel brings Dr. Langdon as her plus-one to her cousin Claire's wedding. Dr. Langdon is all too willing to pretend to be her boyfriend. Maybe a little too willing? To follow: a dog bite, spanking-related misunderstandings, erotic steak eating, and of course: only-one-bed!

Summary
“Good, good. My ancestors would hate me for saying this, but when I was a whiskey drinker, I strongly preferred Tennessee whiskey. I like the sweet notes better.” He tells her.
“I never understood tasting notes in alcohol. If you like sweet drinks there are much better options than whiskey. I like a good Diet Coke or Dr Pepper on a night out.” That’s his girl, not only drug intolerant, but not much of a drinker either. Also not technically his girl, but let him have this.
Or: Mel calls Frank to pick her up after a night out and she loses her house keys, so he offers her his bed for the weekend.

Summary
“Hmm…” She clacked the keyboard quickly, “Langdon, you say?”
He nodded once more, his eyes left the clerks and looked over at Mel. The crinkles that usually came from smiling were prominent just from exhaustion. He was still ridiculously handsome and it really wasn’t fair. She sipped from her water bottle in her hand.
“There it is!” She exclaimed brightly. “Honeymoon suite for Langdon.”
“What?” She choked on the water in her throat and coughed roughly. “Honeymoon suite?”
Frank’s eyes grew a mile wide, almost bulging from his skull. “No.. No.. There’s been some kind of mistake. I booked two queen beds.”
