Summary

Summary
When Tanjirou was young, before his father had passed, he had been sat down by his parents and had been told the gift that could come from their Hinokami Kagura. His father, his two mating bites bare, had told him that both were from Tanjirou’s mother. The one on the left side of his neck had been received when Tanjirou’s mother had been pregnant with him, and the one the on right from when she had been pregnant with Nezuko.
His mother had told him that she had become deathly ill the first pregnancy and the second she had fallen and almost miscarried. She had told him that those mating bites had saved her’s, and the yet to be born, Tanjirou’s and Nezuko’s life.
Rengoku was dying right before his eyes. Tanjirou could save him.
