Summary
When I wrote "Kidnapped!" I voiced that I had not made it as dark as I could have and speculated on writing a dark!AU to the story. A fellow author asked "Why don't you?" So with no fanfare I present the story of the Dwarven nation of Erebor, the mightiest of the Dwarf Kingdoms - sharply divided between Alpha, Omega and Beta. By tradition only an Alpha may be crowned King, but Thorin has yet to produce an Alpha heir, so the title of Prince falls to the Alpha son of his only sister, Omega Princess Dis, who rules the Omega Quarter. Into this kingdom is delivered a young Omega named Kili who first sees the mountain kingdom as a haven, but soon starts to peel back the layers of danger and intrigue. He will quickly have to learn to navigate the political mineshafts in this place if he is to make anything of himself. To make matters more complicated, everyone sees him as something to be used or owned or captured, from Dis the Omega Monarch to Thorin the Incomplete King to Fili the Golden Son of Durin.

It had been two years since an Irish vampire with long legs had walked into an Auckland bar and stumbled into the arms of a wayward Norse god with eyes like the summer sea and mouth like a sailor.
It had been two years since a drunken PR hack had looked up from his glass of remorse with a shot of self-recrimination and been captured by a lilting accent and the kind of free laughter that could charm the stars from the heavens and found himself utterly lost.

Summary
Fairies AU, where Bilbo's garden gets invaded by the little fairy folk of the familiar dwarvish variety. :)
It was meant to be my BOFA-survival material so a lot of it is pointless fluff, there’s a lot of H/C, some angst, but always resolved. It will be going up as vignettes, usually out of order and jumping through timeline so it can be read as collection of one-shots within the same universe (although some stories are in several parts).

Bilbo grew up teased and broken inside. He left the Shire to find a better life for his young nephew to the Blue Mountains and becomes a servant to the dwarven prince, Fili. Everything seemed to settle until Bilbo's whole world is turned upside down in the fearful prospect of love.
