What do you mean, Crowley?!) for you to return home.Three years pass, you've moved on with your life, though always worrying and blaming yourself for your friends from the other world. You don't know if they're okay, you have no way of knowing.
That is, until a mysterious black cat appears in your house.

No one spoke of the woman who gave birth to me.

My father, barely two centuries old and far too rash for his own good, loved her with the kind of devotion that refused to understand endings.
Years after he graduated from Night Raven College, I was born.
The birth was too much for my mother’s mortal body to bear. She lived for only four years after that.
I do not remember her face.
But sometimes, when the world grows quiet, I feel warmth where there should be none. I hear a melody too soft to name, like a lullaby carried across time.

Malleus thought for most of his life, he didn't have a soulmate. Only recently beginning to doubt what he was told
Vil knows he has a soulmate, but that their life is full of pain, and does everything in his power to make sure he doesn't make it worse. Searching desperately for the one he needs to save.
Leona knows who his soulmate is, but that doesn't mean he's worthy to have one.
Idia feared for his soulmate's future with him and decided to suppress his link, but as he starts to unravel his soulmate's identity, he begins to question if that was the right decision.
Other couples tagged will appear in the story as it comes together. And more may appear as the story progresses.
