“Are you kidding?” I said, trying to inject levity in my tone. “Thank YOU! I can learn MAGIC!”
Sora’s jaw dropped a little before he laughed hard. “Magic? Don’t worry, Yun, you’ll learn all the magic you want.”
“Sora…” I said, catching his attention. Sora looked back at me. Things were rapidly starting to fade into the light, me and him along with it. “I’ll find you. I’ll find you and fix things, for you and your friends. I promise.”
(Yun gets transported into the world/s of Kingdom Hearts and tries to follow the plot. Only, that sort of thing was possible if they could remember the plot-which they don't. Considering it takes them at least half a decade before things get real, it's quite the ordeal to keep it all in mind.)

“Your bags?” Batman asked, his voice low and gravelly. Was he doing the voice on Finn? Why? Finn already knew he was a social mess of a man, he didn’t need the gravelly dark knight voice to attempt to say otherwise.
Finn slowly handed over his backpack and duffel bag and then went to put his shoes on and froze, turning back around and flatly staring at both vigilante’s wearing shoes. Inside his house. For fucking shame.
“You wore shoes inside my house.” Finn flatly said, disappointment coloring his voice.
“Your priorities are so weird.” Red Robin mused, taking a sip from his death coffee. “Go put on yours so we can kidnap you.”
Finn did and proceeded to get kidnapped.
Finn just wanted to enjoy casual homeownership in Gotham City, of course the universe conspired against him and he accidentally killed a world renowned clown. The logs are NOT true, Finn did NOT do that shit on purpose your honor. Unfortunately for both Finn and the logs, the bats are ON the case.

A maroon shawl bounced cheerfully as a squirrel dashed across it, before leaping to another and sending a gossamer scarf floating down to earth. Tim tucked their arms tighter around their knees, watching the washing swing lightly, the shine of splintered glass, the depths of a black hole in the asphalt. They thought, in flickers, of watercolours. Of ghosts.
