Summary
Leshy is familiar with the cycle of these things. It begins, without fail, with a Challenger stumbling into his territory; lost, damp with rain and covered in twigs and leaves, all with an intoxicating mixture of curiosity, determination, and apprehension. His camera sits, neglected and dusty, on the mantel.
Not for long, he thinks to himself. Outside there is the sound of boots scuffing in the dirt, sniffles from the foggy and dewy air, and pauses borne of confused hesitation. Not for long at all.

Obi-Wan, exasperated, threw his hands up into the air before saying, “Well, now you’ve gone and done it, Anakin. I have meetings to attend. Important meetings that you don’t even know are important because you don’t do your reports. And now, instead of catching up on work, I’m going to be floating down a rapids-filled river on an innertube with somebody who refused to wash their face because they were afraid of drowning. This sounds like a situation I’d be trying to survive, not a situation that I’d put myself in for a good time,” Obi-Wan hissed at his former apprentice through a fake smile as a trio of Clones hooted and hollered by them. After opening and closing his mouth in a rare display of being rendered speechless, Obi-Wan said dryly, “I simply don’t know what could possibly go wrong in this scenario.” He dropped his arms limply to his sides, while turning to face Anakin, who was trying his hardest to hide a growing smile.

After months of fighting and exhausting military campaigns, Obi-Wan Kenobi secures shore leave on Alderaan for the 501st and the 212th. In a bid to promote rest and relaxation, Bail Organa gifts Obi-Wan and Anakin tickets for a tubing expedition down the River Alderaan.

“Let’s try it.” He looked up at Obi-Wan, a maniacal smile slowly spreading on his face as the idea began to grow roots in his mind.
Obi-Wan’s mouth opened and closed several times, the dim lamplight exaggerating his shock. He finally settled on an emphatic: “No!”
“What else is there to do? We’re stuck here for at least two days.”
“Why do we always have to be doing something?”
“Come on, Obi-Wan! You know it’s harmless.”
“Anakin! It’s a…” Obi-Wan lowered his voice, “drug!”
“Barely! It’s not like it’s laced spice or anything!” Anakin crushed a green clump in between his thumb and forefinger. “Look at it!”
Obi-Wan turned his head defiantly the other way. “I’ve seen it before.”
“Well I’m going to try it.”
Obi-Wan’s head shot back toward Anakin. “Have you lost your mind?”
OR:
After some unfortunate timing, Anakin and Obi-Wan become stuck in a drug smuggler's cave, surrounded by crates of Hutt Weed. With nothing else to do while they await rescue, Anakin pressures Obi-Wan into trying some. Things go just as you would expect.

The Thing, though. The boy-shaped Thing.
The Thing is not a metal almost-person, not like Spring is used to. But it is most certainly not a human, either. It's unsettling to look at, somewhere between a corpse long-dead and a carapace long-shed, and it doesn't act like anything living or almost-living Spring has ever met. Most infuriating of all is that the Lady seems to like the Thing, despite how unnatural it is! She welcomes it into Spring’s hotel like a guest and talks to it like a person.
The nerve of it all. The betrayal.
Spring's hotel has an intruder. It's not quite human, but maybe it's trying to learn how to be one. Spring POV of P from the start of the game until after the King of Puppets fight.

A mission gone wrong throws Snake into a temporal distortion that gives him another shot at getting it right, but there are more dangers lurking around every corner than he'd initially thought. With Otacon on the outside of the distortion and thus unaware that it's happening, Snake finds himself on his own when it comes to solving it and putting things back to normal—unless he can convince Otacon of what's happening and, more importantly, to help him through every iteration even when it means sending him into the same perilous mission over and over again.
