She grips her umbrella, finding it difficult to distinguish her eye’s color. It has been more than a thousand years.
“Morgana, I can’t remember. Forgive me—it feels like an eternity has passed.” Even as her words ends in trembles, Kara would not cry. She has not cried for decades. It’s no use. Her tears can water her graveyard and every grass can come alive, never the buried bones underneath nine feet of dirt.
