“I will stay still, waiting, until I see the light in your eyes once again.” She whispers, soft as the wind that blows the leaves from her decaying tombstone. The owner’s name was long lost from the weathering. Her eyes, she tries to remember. The shades in which it would change in different rooms, in different places. She grips her umbrella, finding it difficult to distinguish her eye’s color. It has been more than a thousand years.
“Morgana, I can’t remember. Forgive me—it feels like an eternity has passed.” Even as her words ends in trembles, Kara would not cry. She has not cried for decades. It’s no use. Her tears can water her graveyard and every grass can come alive, never the buried bones underneath nine feet of dirt.

What she didn't expect, however, was to be utterly charmed by the nerd that was Lena Luthor.And Lena, well... she's grateful for the rescue, she really is. But she's having a hard time reconciling with the idea that this walking disaster in red and blue was related to the Man of Steel.
Who would ever imagine a Super and a Luthor working together?

Characterisations of Kara are based on the comic 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow', her appearance in Superman and my own Headcanons, while Lena is largely inspired by the CW show. (Also, I have to tag with the CW character because the other tags don't really exist) -

She stares at the cover of the Daily Prophet with a blank expression— watching Black’s picture as she walks up the steps into the Great Hall of Hogwarts and embraces Professor McGonagall as if they are old friends. They were, she supposes, before the war. Now, seeing Minerva embrace the monster who had tortured her on the Malfoy’s parlor floor causes Hermione nothing but pain and confusion. Her eyes sting with tears of betrayal.
