“Not even if I pay?” Childe tilted his head to the side. He noticed the temporary maid freezing up and a smile once again was formed on his face. “I want to hold your hands. 70,000 mora.”
Lumine blinked. Just holding hands should be fine, right? She often did it with her brother and friends, for free. And now Childe was offering to pay her for something so simple like that, for seventy thousand mora, no less!
“Well, I guess…”
“Great!” With that, Childe swung on his chair, facing her. He was looking up at her, the same self-confident smile on his face. He put his hand in front of him, palm facing up. “Hand.”
This already felt like the start of something foul.

The 11th Harbinger had a sadistic streak, this was a fact that Lumine knew far too well. It wasn’t like he was trying to hide it in the first place anyway. He could be very charming and friendly, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out that there was darkness so deep and cold writhing underneath thin layer of false warmth.
