Inside, a familiar mop of black hair pecked out from inside one of their sadder, smaller wash tubs. Cid could see he was sitting, curled up, in the tub barely holding his frame in all its muscled glory. The sides of the frame barely came up to his tiny little waist as he looked to be scrubbing his feet. There was a green bottle on the floor next to the tub, corked.
Cid’s stray he’d picked up not even a few weeks back.

“So, Keith, I was thinking if you could tutor Lance here for this semester.
He has a scholarship, for now, and his grades are… below satisfactory. While it is indeed a sports scholarship, I do want my swimmers to graduate excelling in both studies and sport.”
Lance could see that Keith’s answer was a flat ‘no’, but then Coran started talking about how he would give Keith extra credits for his subject, a.k.a. a killer subject that seniors often struggle with, and Lance.
Lance was already shaking his head from side to side not so discreetly when Keith turned to look at him.
Judging from the look in Keith’s face, though…
“Okay,” Keith agreed.
Should Lance even be surprised that all three men in the room didn’t even bother to look at him and ask for his input?

Summary
Some number of hours and instructions later, Franky is proudly explaining his new dishwashing machine to the rest of the crew as Sanji gathers plates by the stack from the dinner table.
Zoro stands from the table, gathering the cleared dishes as he heads to the sink.
“Those will only need a rinse, Marimo,” Sanji informs him. “Franky’s machine will handle the rest.”
Zoro pauses in the middle of the kitchen. He turns his head and stares at the machine for a moment, brow low. Then, he turns and sets the stacks of plates down, glancing back over to the blond.
“Guess you won’t need me then, huh, Cook,” Zoro remarks.
Sanji straightens before he means to. The plates balanced on his elbow waver but adjusts to keep them aloft.
…Sanji hadn’t thought of that.

Summary
The band switched to a faster, upbeat tune and Ferdinand watched as he picked glass out of his gloves, as the man escorted Hubert off the dance floor and continued to devour his attention. He laughed and touched Hubert's arm with his ungloved hand. Hubert rarely allowed those within the Black Eagle Strike Force (whom Hubert once referred to as family) to touch him, yet alone a stranger! In response, Hubert stared at the offending hand but did not brush it away, and the bile rose up farther into Ferdinand's throat.
What could be the root of these feelings? Ferdinand often watched Dorothea dance with men and women alike, frequently leaving Ferdinand to ponder the substance of his glass. It was foolish, Ferdinand had many blessings to be thankful for, he had his health, his position within the Empire, his many friends and his faith. Yet, he never felt a fiery storm cloud his vision around Dorothea, nor did briars coil around his heart and plant their roots until they drew blood.

Keith could feel how hard Lance’s arms were shaking with the effort of hanging on.
“Lance.” He knew what voice to use – the calming, matter-of-fact one. The one that said everything is going to be fine. The one that said I know what I’m doing, so trust me. “You won’t be able to hold on much longer. You know that, even if you’re too stubborn to admit it.”
Post season 8, in which Keith and Lance fall over a cliff, but it still ends happily. Kindof a fix-it fic.

It’s almost ritualistic, how Thanatos kisses his neck, flicks some blood away, leaving marks with his teeth that scorch like the magma of Asphodel. Zagreus feels more than hears his own quickening breaths. Behind him, Thanatos is as stoic as ever, his touch belying his cold demeanor.
Then, so suddenly that Zagreus shivers, his chiton is stripped completely down. He doesn’t look. Doesn’t need to. He’s hard, almost painfully so, and he knows Thanatos can see.

There’s a moment of silence as Zoro watches him, taking in his expression. Eventually, he snorts and looks away. “Yeah, right. You won’t last the day.”

Sifu Piandao has called in an old student of his to help pull this year’s lion dance together, after Zuko’s usual partner Aang took off to “find himself” in Nepal. Zuko’s worked with Piandao for years, he’s a professional. No matter how annoying the new guy is, he’s going to keep it together for the sake of the festivities, and not at all get distracted by his partner’s… assets.
