The small noise alerts the group. It's crying. A child emerges, tears glistening in their eyes. No one moves at first.
Then Lance moves forward and bends down to scoop the crying child up in his arms, proceeding to rub small circles into their back as comforting as he can. "Shh, hey, it's alright, what's your name?"
