Kim stands up as well and slips an arm around Chay’s waist to steady him. Chay’s body melts under Kim’s touch. Waves ripple and rebound through him, concentric rings spreading from Kim’s fingertips. Chay sags into him, half-expecting to float.
“I don’t…” Chay mumbles. “What… hmm…” He can’t think. He’s so warm. “Did you…?”
“I gave you a little something,” Kim says. His voice is so smooth. Chay wants to swim in it. “To help you relax.”

Summary
They meet on a train, going through a rural area in China. He Tian's feeling disillusioned with his brother and is running from the business meeting he's supposed to be in in Shanghai. That's about the time the hot redhead enters the train car and sits opposite him, murmured 'scuse me falling quietly from his lips.
One problem. Well, two: the guy is on the wrong seat. He Tian knows that he is because He Tian bought out every seat in the train car. He has no way to let the guy know that, considering He Tian doesn't speak a word of Chinese besides ni hao and his own name.
Which leads to problem two: redhead is breathtaking, fucking beautiful, and has an attitude to boot, and He Tian really, truly needs to make out with him, which will be difficult, considering, yeah, He Tian doesn't speak a word of Chinese besides ni hao and his own name.
He has a few hours on this train. It's going to be a long ride.

Summary
After his ill-fated Agni Kai, Zuko is cast out of the Fire Nation without even so much as a hope of returning. Dumped on Earth Kingdom shores, he's forced to come to terms with the fact that his father likely wants him dead- and that maybe the Fire Nation was never that great to begin with.
That's the painful part.
The weird part? The weird part is breaking into a nobleman's manor in order to steal food, getting caught and then being hired to protect (babysit) said nobleman's blind daughter. Then again... maybe it's exactly what he needs right now.
(or, toph never got her field trip so now she gets to hog zuko for three whole years)
